The NIHR Structure is composed of two statutory bodies:

1. Senior Management Team: Constituting a Strategy Group and an Executive to administer the NIHR, meeting at least quarterly and monthly, respectively.

2. NIHR Clinical Studies Group: 20 existing funded CIs, 5 nominated fellows, statistics & epidemiology – (approximately 30 members) - meet quarterly, tasked with selection and development of clinical trials through funding applications.
