Although the EUROPAC study is coordinated at Liverpool, we have many collaborators around the UK and Europe.
Liverpool - based at the University of Liverpool's Division of Surgery and Oncology in the Royal Liverpool University Hospital (RLUH). The team is led by Prof John Neoptolamos and the clinical fellow Mr Tom Hanna.
Newcastle – based at the department of Hepatobillary and Transplant Surgery at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle. The clinician at Newcastle is Mr Richard Charnley.
London – based at the division of GI Services Pancreatobiliary Medicine at the University College London Hospital. The clinician at London is Dr Michael Chapman.
Southampton – located at the department of Upper Gastrointestinal surgery at the University Hospital Southampton. The clinician currently at Southampton is Prof Colin Johnson.
Glasgow – based at the Pancreaticobiliary unit at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. The clinician at Glasgow is Mr Ross Carter.
Nottingham – run by the Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary (HPB) Service at Nottingham Queens Medical Centre. The clinician at Nottingham is Professor Guruprasad Athial.
Leeds – based at the department of Hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgery at St.James's University Hospital. The clinician at Leeds is Mr Andrew Smith.
Bristol – based at the department of upper gastrointestinal surgery. The clinician at Bristol is Miss Sally Norton.
- Greifswald - based at the Ernst Moritz Arndt University of Greifswald. This team is led by Professor Markus M Lerch.
- Marburg – based at the Philppes University in Marburg. The team is led by Professor Thomas M. Gress
- Clichy centre is based at Pôle des Maladies de l'Appareil Digestif, Service de Pancréatologie-Gastroentérologie, Hôpital Beaujon, 92118 Clichy Cedex, France. The EUROPAC collaborator is Dr Vinciane Rebours.
