Hello, my name is Keith Ibbotson and I am a survivor of pancreatic cancer. The 4th February 2009 was my twelfth anniversary of the “Whipple’s” operation performed by Professor John Neoptolemos and his team at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.
Thanks to his expertise, the care I received from the staff at the Royal and the follow-up chemo and radiotherapy he prescribed, I have been able to enjoy a healthy lease of life.
Never a day goes by when I don’t think about my operation and treatment which gave me a further twelve years of life. Thank you. I will forever be in your debt.
